The museum of the poet Viļas Plūdonis, established in his native house in Lejenieki in Ceraukste parish, tells about his personality, life course and creative contribution to Latvian literature. Based on the memories of Plūdonis's relatives and contemporaries, the interior of Plūdonis's house has been arranged according to the time of the poet's life in the 20s-30s of the 20th century. years. Furniture and other household items corresponding to the era can be viewed in the museum. In the informative part of the exhibition, visitors to the museum have the opportunity to get acquainted with the poet's life story and the path to his creation.
In connection with the life of the poet, the barn and barn buildings that have recovered their former appearance in the Lejenieki homestead can be viewed, in which the exhibition Lejenieki farm can be viewed. Not far from Lejenieki, in a beautiful pine forest, is the resting place of the poet and his relatives in the Plūdonis cemetery. This cemetery was established by the poet Plūdons himself in 1938, the gates of the cemetery were designed by his son-in-law Ansis Bērziņš, inspired by his poetic images.
