Recommended for ages 12 and up 19th century, but the feeling that the next a century of years is rattling at the door of the age. The time of the birth of the industrial revolution, aviation, speed, psychoanalysis and cinema is here... A village in the south of Lithuania in a forest is preparing for the end of the old world - it seems that they live in the paintings of the romantic old masters and Pre-Raphaelites, which bring back the scenes of fairy tales and mythology. Women talk about the afterlife, a nobleman is fascinated by a stereophoto innovation, someone whispers about witches, and musicians encounter supernatural stones on the way. It is a time that marks pre-modern life, separated only by the screen. Not a few cinematographers have played with the three-dimensional or stereoscopic image - after its early form in the middle of the 19th century, it was forgotten, then revived again and also lost in the popcorn translation. The historical costume drama about the "visualization of the soul" by the internationally known Lithuanian video and visual artist Narkevičs is the first Lithuanian three-dimensional feature film. Narkevičs created the dense, historical canvas of his work, inhabited by painterly light and the music of Misha Skalskas, from Lithuanian folk songs, superstitions, proverbs, prayers and games - his audiovisual experiment about the end of the world enchants with a bold, convincing twist of reality and fantasy, dreams and vision, which in the center is the image and the person. The film will be shown with three-dimensional (3D) glasses.
