Odin, a battered investigator, takes it upon himself to unravel the deaths of two young people in a correctional facility that went unsolved decades ago. The dead teenagers were almost the same age as his daughter Runa, who had recently started living with him. However, as he discovers more and more, Odin begins to mirror the parallels: are the daughter's behavior and wife's suicide really connected to the unsolved case? Isn't he himself the missing piece? The flow of the wind revealing the secret, the irritating frost hidden in the shadows and the half-said - these are classic means of expression of the mystery genre. However, in this nugget of Nordic noir – the third feature film by Icelandic genre cinema master Torodsen – they take on a completely different materiality and layers of meaning. By creating multi-level narratives and dissecting the denial inherited from generation to generation, the director playfully plays with the legalities of the genre and the archetype of the destructive investigator (played by Johannes Hoik Johannesson from the TV series "Vikings"). The nerve-wracking work of audiences at the Glasgow, Gothenburg and many other film festivals twists the past with the present, imagination with delirium, and above all, wrongdoing with the possibility of peace of mind.
