Apocalyptic absurd comedy in which power loses its mask, but common sense is the basis under the feet. In a luxurious country villa in Germany, G7 leaders - men and women who are entrusted with the future of the planet.
They meet to prepare a cautious joint announcement of an undefined global crisis.
But first, hand pressures, pompous banalities, champagne and neat photos on a picturesque landscape and archaeological ruins.
And, of course, intrigue, gossip, rumors. As the night comes, strange, threatening and completely unexplained events begin to happen: they suddenly come into a gloomy forest - without communication and without security.
Seven of the most influential people on Earth suddenly realize that they are as confused, helpless and frightened as everyone else.
As they try to return to the castle, they fall deeper into the forest. And when it seems that the most unpleasant and dangerous one has been experiencing - they see it ... Yes, they are waiting for a sleepless night - but maybe it's just rumor?!
"Baumas" is a strange, glittering, surreal satire that explores how misinformation and control of society can distort reality, destroy confidence and make people vulnerable. A grotesque and defiantly inappropriate movie that is visually unpredictable and full of surprises.
"Baumas" confuses, frightens, annoys - and excites. It is a movie for those who are not afraid to lose their orientation in reality - because they may not have them anymore.
