“What will happen to the dog?” - This issue turns out to be the key. Iris is a lonely forty -year -old living in a small rented apartment in Manhattan. She teaches books at university and in her spare time. She has a very close friend Paul Walter, a writer, professor and female lover.
Walter is unexpectedly leaving this world, leaving a series of ex -wife and a fractured hearts, contradictory emotions and unanswered questions.
For Irish, who had always tried to show her feelings towards her in a polite friendship, it was a sudden blow. How to live on when everything seems to be lost? It turns out that Paul has left her not only the memories of wonderful relationships, but also her dog, a huge German dog, Apollo.
In her orderly life, chaos broke into the chaos - blue -eyed and expressive, 150 pounds of fur, paw, despair and long. What happens if such a majestic being occupies almost all rooms in the studio where dogs are forbidden to even stay?
