It is the beginning of 1873. The Latvian Association of Riga is experiencing decline, the number of members is decreasing, there is a deep internal conflict. A decision is made to organize the first Latvian singing festival within half a year, which would unite the Latvian people and strengthen the sense of community, as well as improve the society's not so bright financial situation. But not everyone in the leadership of RLB is ready to sacrifice themselves to make this possible.
