Real estate agent Thomas Hutter travels to Transylvania to meet a potential client - Count Orlok. Hutter's fiancee Ellen stays with his friends Friedrich and Anna Harding during his absence. Elena begins to be tormented by terrifying visions in which she is haunted by a vampire. Tormented by her growing fears, Elena encounters a force that is beyond anything human.
