For the fourth year in a grand concert, the most popular Latvian music stars from various musical genres will gather on one stage - both pop stars and classical music professionals, who will create an ambitious celebration of popular music together with the audience. As usual, the program will consist of popular songs, new arrangements created especially for this event, warm reunions and new, surprising musical collaborations. The main participant of the concert is the largest audience choir in Latvia, which together with the big band and string orchestra of the Great Concert created especially for the event under the leadership of conductor Jānis Ivuškāns, will create an unprecedented sound for the varied program of the event. ​"Receiving a lot of emotional feedback about the programs of the previous Great Concerts, I always conclude that our creative team managed to find a way in which practically every performance combines two opposite poles - surprise and the opportunity to once again enjoy something very well known and close to the heart. Every visitor to the Great Concert, upon hearing a well-known song, never really knows which of the songs from the great Latvian popular music gold fund will be the next, which of the Latvian musical talents will perform it, and what accompaniment or visual presentation it will have. This year, too, we will do everything to have such close-to-heart surprises in every performance," says Arstarulsmirus, the musical director of the concert. ​4. The Big Concert, as before, will surprise the visitors with ambitious scenography and visual effects, as the author is Papa Chi. "Ohhh, this concert promises to be especially full of surprises. I can safely say that the whole concert will consist only of surprises. Both with unprecedented releases of super-loved musicians and original rock dances - when performers and authors exchange compositions and favorite songs emerge in new flavors and emotions. There will also be an amazing new stage with original artistic and visual content. This promises to be the biggest dose of emotion of the year," explains Papa Chi. ​4. The main supporter of the Great Concert is LMT, the concert is held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Radio Star FM. ​The total number of available tickets for the concert is limited, based on the stage and sound placement requirements, so the organizers invite you to buy tickets in time.
