Irish artists "Bambie Thug", who shocked the Eurovision audience all over Europe a couple of weeks ago with their impressive performance, will visit Riga with their first concert. The concert will take place on September 26 in the "Palladium" concert hall. Tickets for the concert will be available from Tuesday, May 28, on the "Biļešu Serviss" network.
Bambie Thug, real name Bambi Ray Robinson, started his musical journey only in 2020, releasing the provocative song "Birthday ”, the video clip version of which drew both praise from supporters and criticism from more conservative music consumers. Later, the artists released no less shocking tracks "P.M.P". "Egregore" and others. The musical style is self-referred to as "Ouija-pop", which, as Bambie Thug admits, is a self-invented term to describe the synthesis of several musical genres, thus giving the created music, which already borders on an art form, uniqueness and the ability to exist outside of predetermined borders.
In their performances, they continue what they started with video clips at the beginning of their musical career - to subvert sociopolitical stereotypes through provocation, challenging the conservative-minded audience with shocking shows. Robinson defines herself as a non-binary person and is active in the LGBTQ+ scene, proclaiming the famous song "Doomsday blue" as the anthem of the queer commune, but crowning herself a witch.

Among the supporters of "Bambie Thug" was also multiple Eurovision winner Johnny Logan, who saw a potential contest winner in the song and called on the Irish people to support the artists. They later finished a high 6th in the final of the competition, Ireland's best finish in 24 years. The self-proclaimed Irish witch "Bambie Thug", on September 26, in the concert hall Palladium Riga.
