Since 2018, Purple Negative have become an irreplaceable force in the alternative music space. Their sound skillfully fuses the depth of alternative rock with the vibrations of punk and psychedelic rock, creating a bold and hypnotic journey.
Their performances have been heard at Positivus, Laba Daba, Fāze and Devilstone festivals, as well as warming up giants such as Placebo.
The debut album "Megabee" in 2024 marked the artistic growth of the group, and its presentation became a grand celebration fans of the band - at the presentation of the album held at the ONE ONE bar, Megabee beer from the Nurme brewery was served, which was produced especially for this event. are ready to reach new musical horizons and surprise with a new album.

The group was founded in 2020 and it unites three talented musicians - Oskars Tupuriņa (vocals/guitar), Jānis Liepiņa (bass) and Pēteri Ozola (drums). Their sound is permeated by the influence of the Latvian independent music scene of the 2000s, which merges with fresh and original ideas.
In their music, the moods of shugeiza meet with the colorful swirls of psychedelic rock and the sharpness of post-punk, creating a unique, exciting sound, which is why Bēdu Brāļi captivates in their concerts with a truly special musical experience.
Their debut album “Duende”, which came out in 2022, won the "Golden Microphone" award as the best rock/metal album, proving the band's ability to create quality and emotionally rich music.
