LEGZDINA

Latvian-born musician and songwriter LEGZDINA, currently living in London, believes in inner magic - an idea , that everything we dream can be created. In her new mini-album Celestial Girl and her Milky Way, she combines summery breakbeat and drum'n'bass rhythms with deep themes - awareness of power, love, self-discovery and artistic growth.

LEGZDINA's debut album marks a new beginning in the artist's career . Previously, working under her real name Elīza Legzdiņa, she collaborated with such well-known artists as Bianca Oblivion, Manga Saint Hilare and Idriss Elba, whose 7Wallace label also released her second EP Silver Linings with the hit Composure (500 thousand Spotify plays).

In its new phase, LEGZDINA stays true to itself, inspired by icons such as Le Tigre, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga and Spice Girls. Her bold spirit is reflected in hypnotizing compositions - with emotional depth and pop sensuality. They are reminiscent of popular music acts like Rudimental and Katy B, new generation talents like Nia Archives and venbee, or similarly soulful artists like Greentea Peng.

BEL TEMPO

Bel Tempo is an indie/ electronic music duo from Riga, whose music is influenced by such artists as Caribou, Jungle, Sampha, Toro y Moi and others. Bel Tempo combines sensual beats and sounds of analog synthesizers with soft vocals and pulsating guitar riffs, creating a danceable yet intimate atmosphere. In June 2022, the duo released their first mini-album "Pessimismus", which also featured the London rapper Eliza Legzdina. The mini-album received two nominations for the Music Recording of the Year Award "Zelta Mikrofons" - as the best electronic and dance music album and as the debut album of the year.

In the beginning, both artists met at the songwriting camp "RIGaLive", but worked remotely - producer Andis Ansons lived and worked in Riga, while singer and composer Jūlijs Melngailis studied music composition in London. "Bel Tempo" means "good time" in Italian, which is a bit ironic considering that the musicians started out in Riga and London. However, it can also be translated as "having a good time" - and that's exactly what Bel Tempo wants to give its listeners: a refuge from the gray sky and puddles, from the cold wind and grumpy faces.
