Group Skunk Anansie was founded in 1994. It immediately attracted the attention of melomans with a unique mix of alternative rock, punk rock and metal music, as well as provocative song topics by charismatic soloist Skin, becoming one of the most discussed groups and rapidly achieving global success. The Skin's own sound has been defined as Clit-rock, but allmusic describes it as the alloy of heavy metal and dark feminism. "25live@25" and their hits "Hedonism (Just Bezaze You Feel Good)", "Selling Jesus", "Twisted (Everyday Hurts)" and "Weak" sold for millions of large circuits worldwide. In 1999, Skunk Anansie performed at the Glastonbury Festival as the main artists.

, after an unexpected creative pause in the early 2000s, Skunk Anansie returned triumphal with new music and active concert activities in 2009. In January this year, the band has released the single "An Artist Is An Artist" and is currently working on creating new songs, which we will most likely hear in Riga. Of course, the concert will also feature the biggest hits of the band's previous years.
