Marisol Martinez was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and sings from the age of three - learning from her mom. At the age of 12, she began to learn tango vocal technique and performed at various concerts throughout Argentina, as well as participated in competitions, such as Hugo Del Carril. At the age of 15, he won the Si Lo Sabe Cante in the television competition as the best singer. Starting at the age of 18, the tour with Silvio Soldan's concert program "Silvio Soldan Y Las Estrellas del Tango", but has been performing as a soloist with classic and modern tango orchestras since the age of 20. The Hyperion Ensemble was founded in 1992 and, from the beginning of the beginning, focused on both Astor Piazzolla's music and tango in all its glory. Since the year 2009, the orchestra has been playing a classic tango repertoire for dancers, with more than 1,300 concerts worldwide. The Orchestra works as a sestet - bandonon, violin, piano, double bass, flute and vocals (sometimes guitar), creating a bright, energetic sound. The flute, which was part of the tango orchestras in the 19th century, brings a special historical touch and depth in the sound. Michał and Vitalina combine the Polish elegance and the Ukrainian temperament in each common dance. Experienced dancers and teachers have performed at many European festivals and gained recognition with their exact technique and emotionally saturated narrative in dance. The winners of the Tango Open Baltic Cup in the Tango de Pista category. Their tango flows with restrained intensity - each movement reveals trust, every break - understanding, recalling that alive mutual contact is born not in steps but in a common breath.
Andrés and Elena, the founders of Argentine Tango Academy in Riga, dancing together since 2021, learning tango as both as performing arts and as a form of language. Combining the Argentine tradition with the aesthetics of the European Theater, their dances are fine and meaningful - the mirror of reflection is embodied. Their tango speaks nuances and thought - where the structure meets with the feeling, and each step becomes part of the dialogue.
Gvido and Natalia are tango lecturers at El Abrazo studio in Riga and dance together since 2020. Gvido Tango has been dancing for over 12 years, ten of them professionally teach and perform. Natalia comes from the stage art environment and also acts as a tango dj. Their dance language is a combination of musicality and sensitivity - a space where improvisation is born with craftsmanship and emotions driven by every movement. They dance as in a conversation where every moment becomes a discovery. Guntars Graiksts & Ginta Gaumala (Latvia)
Dancers, dreamers and human contact architects, Riga Tango studio El Abrazo lecturers, Guntar and Ginta dance together since 2017, creating their own tango language, where Argentina's tradition meets the Nordic Rimtum. Organizers of the annual Buenos Aires Tango Tour and the International El Abrazo de Riga Tango Festival. Guntars, a multiple Tango Open Baltic Cup medalist, brings musical nuance to dance. Ginta, the founder of the studio and the creator of international tango events since 2011, forms a space where tango becomes both a holiday and a self -discovery space.
