The play of Australian playwright and screenwriter John Misto moves us to the 1950s New York, to the beauty empire of Helen Rubinstein. The name of this woman entered the history of the 20th century world: waterproof mascara, modern face creams, the world's first cosmetic salons are just a small part of her inventions. The overbearing and purposeful Helen has left even influential competitors such as Elizabeth Arden and Charles Revlon.
It was Helen Rubinstein that changed the notions of beauty and had created many of today's business innovation.
But what turned out to be the second half of the grand success? Risky adventures, fierce competition, betrayal of loved ones, the death of the son ... But at the end of our lives, Helen, like the rest of the heroes, is aware that the ability to love is more important than winning business.
