It is Fate who first meets Don José and then writes Escamillo on Carmen's path, revealing himself through the symbols of the cards (love, betrayal, death) to arm Don José's hand and, in the finale, take Carmen with him. Don José, the toreador Escamillo and Micaela are the other main performers in this ballet, full of exciting choreography: from the famous "Habanera" to many lively Gitani, Soldati and Sigaraie ensemble dances with the music of Georges Bizet. Tradition and modernity also exist in the energetic climate of Marco Pesta's original scenography.
