Scenography
Marco Pesta Improved with sets and costumes, "Carmen " performed by the Balletto di Milano is confirmed as one of the most anticipated shows of the season. Carmen, beautiful and unusual, passionate and desirable, defying anyone who wants to subjugate her, and Fate, so well described in the ubiquitous musical leitmotif, are the main characters in this exclusive Balletto di Milano version. The enchanted face in which Carmen will realize that the only way to live the life she wants is to bow to it, Fate, and accept the impending death announced by the cards. It is the conflict between the gypsy symbol that drives the story from the first scene. It is Fate who first meets Don José and then writes Escamillo on Carmen's path, revealing himself through the symbols of the cards (love, betrayal, death) to arm Don José's hand and, in the finale, take Carmen with him. Don José, the toreador Escamillo and Micaela are the other main performers in this ballet, full of exciting choreography: from the famous "Habanera" to many lively Gitani, Soldati and Sigaraie ensemble dances with the music of Georges Bizet. Tradition and modernity also exist in the energetic climate of Marco Pesta's original scenography. The play lives up to the expectations of tradition, remaining faithful to the story of Prosper Mérimée and the famous opera of Georges Bizet. Don't miss this unique show and buy your tickets now!
