A performance based on the musical "The Sound of Music". The show is based on real events described in Maria von Trapp's family memoir "The Story of the Trapp Singing Family".

Austria, 30 . the end of the year. Maria Rainer, a young woman from the Nonnberg convent, by fate becomes the tutor of the children of the aristocrat and military hero Captain Georg von Trapp, who became a widow a few years ago. With the help of music, the girl manages not only to find a common language with the children, but also to win the heart of their father. The Von Trapp family's happy life is threatened after Austria joins Nazi Germany. The captain, who is ordered to serve in the German navy, has to make a difficult choice - to ensure the safety of his family by cooperating with the Nazis, or not to give up his patriotic views and not to endanger the lives of his loved ones.

Richard Rodgers' music remains a musical performance, but The Sound of Music isn't necessarily about the golden Hollywood of the 1960s.
